About the artist: I was born in the Netherlands and came to the States in 1982 with my husband and three young children. I have worked as a farmer, Rn, housewife and artist. Painting has always been a joy, and I find it very fulfilling. My strengths are color and shape. I enjoy contrasting lights and darks. Painting for me is a way to express feelings I can't put words to, and I hope the viewer experiences some of these feelings in my paintings. I thank my Creator for this gift, and I look forward to many more years of creating art.
