Viewing the artwork of P K King is opening a door to a world filled with bold color, explosions of light and a passion for beauty. Drawing, painting and studying art through childhood was a passion of PK’s. But, adulthood brought marriage, raising three sons and a career in management and administration. In 1994, PK’s husband encouraged her to stop working and “follow your dream”. The last several years have been a period of intense discovery, experimentation with painting media and development. Today, PK wants to paint everything she sees and imagines. Ultimately, though, it is color and ever changing light that continues to “push her buttons”.
