ARTIST’S BIO
Michael’s love of the southwest and
it’s culture, traditions and beauty is reflected in his
paintings -- whether it is the landscape and mountains of the
southwest, or the intricate detail of Indian pottery. Michael
is a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation in Oklahoma, having been
placed on the Roll of Indian Affairs at birth. Born, raised and
educated at West Texas State University, Michael did his apprentice
work by participating in arts and crafts shows throughout the
southwest. Today he works in a studio at his home in Albuquerque,
New Mexico creating paintings for. galleries and art festivals
across the southwest.
