From the rolling hill country of southern Arizona to the canyon lands of the Colorado Plateau, Arizona artist Charles Thomas is inspired by the colors, light and landforms of the American West. His paintings of evocative landscapes convey a feeling of quiet openness and a compelling appreciation of the scale, solitude and exotic beauty of the west’s wild places. Charles spent twelve years as a sought-after commercial artist doing work for major corporate clients across the United States. Today, he concentrates on his fine art capturing the alluring beauty of the American West.
