ARTIST’S BIO

Born and raised in Nebraska, Carolyn has always had the urge to “create” something. She started with drawing as a child, advanced to acrylics and finally oils and etchings. In these fields she amassed many awards and her work hangs in many collections. However, she always felt a discontent with one dimensional work. After moving to Tucson, Arizona , Carolyn decided to “try her hand” at sculpting. Having had no formal training in sculpting, Carolyn breathes life into each piece – often with a touch of humor. Her favorite subject is Native Americans and each piece is thoroughly researched and includes details that others might have overlooked.
